Alyssa Eyster was born in San Jose, CA and began her dance training in Cincinnati, OH at Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy. She continued her training at Inland Pacific Ballet in Claremont, CA where she performed as a trainee with the company. Alyssa completed her senior year of high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) under the direction of Susan Jaffe and stayed on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet in 2019. While at UNCSA Alyssa had the pleasure of working with choreographers such as Goyo Montero, Ethan Stiefel and Helen Pickett. Upon graduation, Alyssa joined the second company at Nashville Ballet where she performed in numerous full-length ballet’s such as The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet and Peter Pan as well as new choreographic works by Paul Vasterling including Firebird and Billy the Kid. Alyssa is excited to join Minnesota Ballet this year and to continue to share her passion for dance each time she steps on stage.
