Annie Freeman, originally from Marietta, Georgia began studying with Fiona Fairrie at both the Georgia Ballet and Fiona Fairrie Ballet Conservatory, and then later trained with the Next Generation Ballet at the Patel Conservatory in Tampa, Florida under the direction of Philip Neal and Ivonne Lemus. While dancing at the Next Generation Ballet, Annie danced various corps de ballet and soloist roles in works including Peter Stark’s Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and Le Corsaire. Annie spent her summers training at The Harid Conservatory, Elliwest Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. In 2019, Freeman joined Indianapolis Ballet studying with Victoria Lyras and Paul Vitali, having the opportunity to perform in works including George Balanchine’s Who Cares, George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, and The Nutcracker. Annie is looking forward to joining the Minnesota Ballet for the 2020-2021 season.
